Kees - 2/23/2025

We had a good showing for the Kees trip with 12 total in the group. We spent two hours in the cave and saw most of the main passages, encountered some nifty "ice stalagmites" inside the entrance, as well as a good number of sleepy bats in several locations. Watch your hands on the walls if you visit soon! On the trip were myself, Kara (leading), Tim, Josie, Murphy, Margo, Karl, Aubrey (first trip), John, Araya, Athen, & Carson.
After Kees Margo, Karl, Murphy, and Aubrey headed over to Hamilton to take Aubrey in another cave. Murphy decided that the sun was just too good and he stayed at the entrance to sunbath and nap. Margo, Karl, and Aubrey headed inside to explore. They crawled their way down the passages to Roslynns Escalator to see that section of the cave as well as exploring plenty of passage towards the front of the cave.
